Eden’s Zero has a very obvious crossover with Fairy Tail. Mashima decided he would create a mash-up manga featuring all of his most popular creations: Rave Master, Fairy Tail, and Eden’s Zero. This series ran as a mini-series during 2019 and saw all three main characters run into each other on a single island.
While some believe Eden’s Zero is a sequel to Fairy Tail, others believe that it’s another part of the same universe. But what’s really going on here? Are the two manga connected in some way or are they just very similar projects? Turns out, it’s a little complicated. Is ‘Eden’s Zero’ connected to ‘Fairy Tail?’
It is easy to get confused as many of the characters in Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero look similar to one another. Rebecca and Elsie from Eden’s Zero, for example, look just like Lucy and Erza from Fairy Tail. New viewers may not perceive the subtle differences as most character elements are the same.
While the character in “Eden’s Zero” technically is the same Happy, it’s a completely different version of the character, with no memory of the events of “Fairy Tail.” Happy appears in the first chapter of “Eden’s Zero” in his familiar form, except for his lost memories.
What class is Erza in Fairy Tail?
Fairy Tail ‘s Erza Scarlet is an S-Class mage who uses her magic to instantly change weapons and armor. She has a wide inventory and has a lot of transformations in the series. Erza has long scarlet hair and has lost her right eye during her childhood.
It already has more than a hundred chapters and an anime on the way. Even during his Fairy Tail days, Mashima has already reused some of his character designs from Rave Master. What sticks out the most, however, is Plue, the bearer of Rave Master stone in Rave Master and Lucy’s Celestial Spirit in Fairy Tail.
In Fairy Tail, Happy is an Exceed, a race of cat-like beings, and is also Natsu ‘s best friend. Being an Exceed, Happy can naturally use magic. However, his magic ends at sprouting wings and flying. theless, his companionship proves to be crucial during Natsu ‘s adventures. The Happy in Edens Zero has, unfortunately, died during a car accident. He is Rebecca’s companion who has accompanied her ever since. Professor Weisz uses his intellect to transfer Happy’s brain into a machine, turning him into a robot. But he isn’t just a companion robot, Happy can transform into a pair of blasters that can fire Ether bullets. Paired with Rebecca’s aim, they prove to be a formidable pair.
Porlyusica has created an artificial eye for her, so she appears to have two eyes in the entire series. Elsie Crimson is a former princess on a planet in Kaede Cosmos and Justice’s former Fiancee. After she runs away from her planet, Ziggy, also known as Demon King, picks her up, and she becomes part of the family.
It has continuously released weekly chapters for more than a decade and has even received an anime adaptation, spin-off series, movies, and even a game on PS4. The year after Fairy Tail ended, Mashima comes back again with a new title – Edens Zero. It already has more than a hundred chapters and an anime on the way.
Justice X Jellal Fernandez. In Fairy Tail, Jellal is Erza’s childhood friend and love interest. When he has lost his memories, he has also become one of the series villains and has tried to revive Zeref, the strongest mage in the series.
Plue also makes an appearance in Edens Zero, although it doesn’t have as big of a role as it does in Fairy Tail and Rave Master. Just like Fairy Tail, Mashima has borrowed quite a few character designs for Edens Zero. Of course, some of them have been tweaked here and there.
