ST. GEORGE, Utah — In connection with the fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday night near the Salt Palace Convention Center, police have arrested a second suspect; however, they believe the alleged shooter may have already fled the area.

On Monday, police in Salt Lake City, Utah, announced that 21-year-old Joshua Riak had been arrested in connection with the death of 41-year-old Deliford Knight. Sunday brought the arrest of Deng Buk, 22.

One hundred million dollars in funding for Utah’s water infrastructure has been awarded by FEMA.

Water infrastructure in Utah will benefit from a $100 million grant from FEMA.
The police say Riak and Buk fought with Knight, leading to his death by gunshot, but neither of them fired the fatal shot.

According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, Nogolweit “Nunu” Kug, 18, is the prime suspect in the shooting death of Knight.

It is possible that Kug has left Utah, but his whereabouts and mode of transportation are unknown at this time.

We need everyone who knows where Kug is to call 9-1-1 right away. The police are advising everyone to treat him as armed and dangerous.
